I welcome guest posts on this blog. I also guest post on other blogs sometimes, so if you’d like me to write a post for your website get in touch and we’ll see if we can work something out.
If you’ve been reading my blog you probably have a pretty good idea of what I post. Here are a few guidelines to keep in mind if you’re writing a post for this blog. If you have any questions, post them in the comments so others interested in writing a post can read the answers.
- Subject: Psychology, personal growth, and Christianity are my main subjects, but you can also write about literature and culture if you have an interesting take on something that you want to share. If you have an idea that doesn’t fit in these categories but you still think my readers might find it interesting, just ask me.
- Tone: It’s up to you. If you do want to write a post that challenges readers, I prefer something that’s not antagonistic/argumentative. It should also include steps for growth and/or a reason for hope. I want people to feel uplifted after reading posts on this blog.
- Content: I don’t want to put too many restrictions on specific content, but I won’t publish things that mock or directly contradict my beliefs. For example, I’ll happily publish posts written by Christians who go to church on Sunday but I won’t publish a post that condemns Christians who keep the Sabbath on Saturday.
