Some time ago, we started a scripture writing group in one of my local church congregations. Each month, we pick a theme and someone in the group collects a list of scriptures–one for each day of the month–for the group to write together. At the end of the month, we sit down together and discuss what we learned.

The Bible study to put together a list of scriptures to write can be a great experience, but if you’d like to start a scripture writing program using pre-made lists I’m offering several here. Whether you’re writing scriptures as part of an individual effort to draw closer to God or you’re starting a scripture writing group with your fellow church members, I pray this exercise help deepen your relationship with God.
