As has been my tradition for many years now, I want to start this year with a look back at the stats for my blog. This past year was a big one for me; I spent a little over half of it pregnant and the rest of it caring for our new baby girl. I missed a few weekly posts this year, but honestly not as many as I’d though I might given the many distractions from writing (I posted 48 of the 52 weeks in the year).
I talk about this more in my newsletter today, but 2024 marks the 10-year anniversary of year-end posts. I started this blog in 2013, and the end of 2014 was the first year I did a look back at my most popular posts (one of which is still on this year’s post popular list).
If you’re not already subscribed, please consider signing up for my newsletter. I send out a short email every other week with an update or message, and a brief recap of the blog posts published between newsletters. If you choose to sign up, it’s a great way for us to keep in touch and you’ll also receive a free copy of my book God’s Love Story.

10 Posts With The Most Traffic
These are the 10 most popular posts on my blog this year. They all date from pre-2024 (older posts tend to attract more long-term traffic). WordPress changed something in their stats report this year, so unfortunately I can’t see which posts published in 2024 were the most popular.
The one that surprised me most was seeing “Wanting Children While Single” in this year’s top posts. It’s something I wrote back in 2016 and while it sparked a few comments, it never really had high numbers of views before this. I’ll probably never know, but I do wonder what it was that made people gravitate to this topic in 2024.
